1 pound ribeye steak (about 1½ inches thick, at room temperature)
½ teaspoon kosher salt
⅛ teaspoon ground black pepper

Step 1: Preheat the Air Fryer
Set your air fryer to 390°F and let it preheat for about 5 minutes.
This helps the steak cook evenly and gives it a nice sear.
Step 2: Season the Steak
Pat the ribeye dry with paper towels to remove any moisture.
Season both sides generously with kosher salt and black pepper.
Step 3: Cook the Steak
Place the seasoned steak into the air fryer basket.
Cook for 6 minutes at 390°F, then flip the steak and cook for another 6 minutes for medium-rare.
Adjust cooking time slightly if you prefer your steak more or less done.
Step 4: Rest and Serve
Remove the steak from the air fryer and place it on a plate.
Let it rest for at least 5 minutes to allow the juices to redistribute.
