Ingredients
1 tbsp olive oil
2 large chicken breasts
Salt and black pepper, to taste
1 tbsp Italian seasoning
2 cups broccoli florets, blanched and chopped
6 strips bacon, cooked and chopped
1/3 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
Instructions
Step 1: Prepare the Oven and Casserole Dish
Preheat your oven to 400°F.
Lightly grease a casserole dish with olive oil to prevent sticking.
Step 2: Slice and Season the Chicken
Slice the chicken breasts in half horizontally to create four thin chicken cutlets. Lay them in a single layer at the bottom of the prepared casserole dish. Season both sides with salt, black pepper, and sprinkle with Italian seasoning.
Step 3: Layer the Toppings
Scatter the chopped, blanched broccoli evenly over the chicken. Sprinkle the crispy bacon pieces over the broccoli and chicken. Top everything with mozzarella and cheddar cheese, making sure to cover the surface well.
