16 ounces marshmallows, divided in half

Instructions

Melt the Butter and Marshmallows: In a medium-sized pot, melt the butter. Pour in half of the marshmallows and vanilla extract. Stir until melted and smooth.
Mix with Cereal: Take the pot off the heat and stir in the Lucky Charms cereal until almost completely incorporated.
Add Remaining Marshmallows: Add the second half of the marshmallows and stir until combined. You don’t want the second half of the marshmallows to completely melt.
Press and Cool: Spoon the mixture into a parchment paper-lined 9×13 inch pan and gently press into the edges. Sprinkle on Lucky Charms marshmallows, if desired. Let the bars cool completely before cutting into squares. Enjoy!
