Lucky Charms Cookies

This Lucky Charms Cookies recipe is a fun, festive, and surprisingly delicious treat that’s perfect for St. Patrick’s Day, or any time you’re craving a little bit of whimsy in your baking. I’ve always loved the bright colors and sugary sweetness of Lucky Charms cereal

Ingredients

  • ½ cup butter, softened
  • ¾ cup granulated sugar
  • 1 egg
  • ¾ Tbsp mint extract
  • 34 drops green food coloring
  • 1 ½ cup all-purpose flour
  • ½ tsp baking soda
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp cream of tartar
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 1 cup mint chocolate chips
  • 1 ½ cup Lucky Charms Marshmallows

Instructions

  1. Preheat and Prep: Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

  2. Cream Butter and Sugar: Cream the butter and sugar.

  3. Add Wet Ingredients: Add the egg, extract and food coloring.

  4. Combine Dry Ingredients: Add the flour, baking soda, baking powder, cream of tartar and salt.

  5. Fold in Chips and Marshmallows: Once fully combined, fold in the chocolate chips and lucky charms marshmallows.

  6. Scoop and Bake: Roll into small balls and place them on a cookie sheet. Bake the cookies for 10 minutes.

  7. Cool
