Ingredients

Scale

  • 1 cup (2 sticks) unsalted butter, melted
  • 1 ¼ cups light brown sugar
  • ½ cup granulated sugar
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
  • 2 ¼ cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup old-fashioned oats
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ¼ teaspoon cinnamon
  • 1 cup white chocolate chips
  • 1 cup semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  1. Melt the Butter: Start by melting the unsalted butter in a microwave-safe bowl or on the stovetop. Let it cool slightly.
  2. Combine Wet Ingredients: In a large mixing bowl, combine the melted butter with brown sugar and granulated sugar. Mix until the sugars are fully incorporated and the mixture is smooth. Add the eggs and vanilla extract to the butter-sugar mixture. Beat well until everything is fully combined and slightly frothy.
  3. Combine Dry Ingredients: In a separate bowl, whisk together the flour, oats, baking soda, salt, and cinnamon.
  4. Combine Wet and Dry Ingredients: Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing until just combined. Be careful not to overmix.
  5. Fold in Chocolate Chips: Fold in the white chocolate chips and semisweet chocolate chips until evenly distributed throughout the dough.
  6. Scoop and Bake: Drop rounded tablespoons of cookie dough onto the prepared baking sheet, leaving space between each cookie. Bake in a preheated oven at 375°F (190°C) for 10-12 minutes, or until golden brown and the edges are set.
  7. Cool and Serve: Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely. Serve and enjoy!
