- 1 (6 oz) box of Strawberry Jello
- 1 box of white cake mix (plus ingredients required on the box: typically eggs, water, and oil)
- 8 oz Cool Whip
Instructions
- Prepare and bake the white cake according to the package instructions. Let it cool completely.
- Using the handle of a wooden spoon, poke holes all over the surface of the cooled cake.
- Prepare the Strawberry Jello according to the package directions, stopping before refrigeration.
- Pour the prepared liquid Jello evenly over the entire cake, allowing it to seep into the holes.
- Refrigerate the cake for 4 to 5 hours, or until the Jello has set.
- Spread the Cool Whip evenly over the top of the chilled cake.
- Slice, serve, and enjoy!
Notes
- You can use any flavor of Jello for variety.
- Add fresh sliced strawberries on top for garnish.
