Instructions
Prepare the white cake mix according to the directions on the box. Pour it into a 9×13-inch pan and bake as instructed. Let the cake cool to room temperature once it’s done.
Using the handle of a thin wooden spoon, poke holes all over the cake. Space the holes about 1 inch apart.
Spread the strawberry pie filling evenly over the cake. Use a rubber spatula to gently press the filling into the holes. This helps the sweet strawberry flavor soak deep into the cake.
Once the filling is spread out, cover the entire cake with whipped topping. Smooth it out nicely with a spatula.
Place the cake in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour to let all the flavors settle together.
When you’re ready to serve, slice up fresh strawberries and arrange them beautifully on top of the cake.
Cut into squares, serve, and enjoy the creamy, fruity goodness!
